Special Event at The Ritz

     On Friday, April 23, 2010, at 7:00 pm, there will be a special live presentation on stage at The Ritz Civic Center, 306 W. Main in Blytheville.  Admission for this fund-raiser for The Arts Council of Mississippi County will be a donation of $5.00 or more at the door.

     Performers will include pianists Dennis Hay and Paul Ross performing a piano-four hands duet on grand piano of “Exodus,” as well as a vocal solo performance by Mr. Ross. Vocalists will include Dr. Andrew and Cathy Jensen of Blytheville, Misty McDowell of Kennett, MO, and Caity Shelton of Gosnell.  A special appearance by a male quartet performing as “Patrick Is My Hero” will feature the vocal talents of Josh Dennis of Jonesboro, Nick Robbins of Dell, Patrick Manes of Jonesboro and Drew Warren of Manila.  William King, III of Blytheville will also entertain as he sings and plays piano.  The acting talents of local thespians Carol Walls, Jeannette Sells, Aaron FitzPatrick and Sam Fleming will be featured in a vignette from the hilarious comedy, “Kitchen Witches,” which was recently staged by ACT2! Community Theater and directed by Sarah Jackson.  Host for the evening will be David Lyttle, Executive Director of The Arts Council.
