The Mission of 

The Arts Council of Mississippi County 

is to enhance the quality of life for citizens of all ages by providing arts opportunities, assistance with artist development and utilization of all educational outreach channels to instill arts awareness and development.
The programming nucleus of the organization includes visual arts, theater, music and dance

 

Sarah Jackson is originally from Norfolk VA, she moved to Blytheville with her family in 1992. She has been a volunteer for The Arts Council of Mississippi County since 2003 and in 2006, she became a board member. In 2008-2009 she served as board Vice President.

In 2007, Sarah and her husband, Ken, along with their daughter Jennifer, opened “Arkham Comics and Used Books” in Blytheville
