The Arts Council of Mississippi County 

is to enhance the quality of life for citizens of all ages by providing arts opportunities, assistance with artist development and utilization of all educational outreach channels to instill arts awareness and development.
The programming nucleus of the organization includes visual arts, theater, music and dance

Elaine Wright has been a member of the Arts Council for four years, she is an employee at the Department Of Human Service as a Family Support Specialist 2. She is a graduate of Arkansas Northeastern College & Arkansas State University, she has a  degree in Criminal Justice and Early Childhood  Development and is a member of The National Black Council Of Early Childhood Education. Elaine is the Vice President of The American Gospel Quartet Convention Of Birmingham Alabama, Arkansas Chapter and the booking agent for The True Gospel Wright Singers Ministry. She is also the program Director Of Manifested Fruit Ministries and has also served as Vice President For the Consortium For The Continuum Of Care  Jonesboro Division. She has been recognized and certified by the Housing & Urban Development of Little Rock, AR  Division. Elaine is married and has seven children.
