Saturday, August 9, 7:00pm – The Arts Council of Mississippi County starts their 2008 – 2009 Series off with Blend.  This male a cappella quartet is sweeping the country with songs of the 50’s and 60’s.  Adults $15.00, Students & Groups of 10 or more $10.00 and children 5 and under FREE.

Sunday, August 10, 3:00pm – The ACT 2! Community Theater Group will be conducting their monthly meeting in the boardroom at The Ritz.  All are welcome to attend.

Thursday, August 14, 6:00pm – The Arts Council of Mississippi County will be holding their monthly board meeting in the boardroom at The Ritz.  All are welcome to attend.

Saturday, August 16, 2:00pm – 4:00pm – The Arts Council of Mississippi County welcomes local artist Gregg Kemp of Gosnell with a “Meet the Artist” reception for his art show entitled Family, Friends and Famous Faces.  This event is FREE to the public and will be on display until September 14. All are welcome to attend.

Thurs & Fri, Aug 21 & 22, 6:30pm – 8:30pm – The ACT 2! Community Theater Group will be holding auditions for the radio play “Dracula” by Philip Grecian based on the novel by Bram Stoker at The Ritz.  Actors are needed are 7 males, 3 females & other additional voices.

Saturday, August 23, 7:00pm – This Far By Faith.  This Gospel play is being presented by Open Door Productions and written by Michelle Simms.  Admission is $10.00 in advance or $13.00 at the door, Children 5 and under get in for FREE!  For ticket purchase and further information, please call (870) 838-4157.
